Solano FS287 音箱整體外觀為傳統的方正設計，但四周邊緣採用柔和的圓弧收邊，加上修長纖細的身形，完全沒有笨重的感覺。Solano FS287 採用 3 單體 2.5 音路設計，高音採用 Elac 最具代表性的 JET5 氣動式高音，不僅效率高、細節豐，高頻延伸更可輕鬆直達 50 kHz。 中音和低音部分搭載 Elac 獨具一格的AS-XR 單體，振膜結合輕盈堅韌的鋁合金和複合材質，結合成質輕、堅固又具備兼具優異阻尼特性的三明治式振膜，低音反射式音箱結構，低頻可輕鬆下探極為優異的 30 Hz 規模。

特別的是，Solano FS287 的低音反射孔除了在背面，另一個在抬起的底座和箱體間的縫隙，讓箱內空氣由音箱底部向四周散逸，讓 Solano FS287 更便於擺放，而不受制於離牆遠近。
