這不是外接式硬碟！雖然樣子很像，可是體積大很多，它是加拿大Paradigm專為旗下MilleniaOne多聲道喇叭設計的主動式超低音 ─MilleniaSub，搭配1對MilleniaOne就是2.1聲道系統，搭配5支就是5.1聲道環繞劇院喇叭。扁平化設計的 MilleniaSub強調擺位極具彈性，最窄處只有12.5公分，除了以專用底座像外接硬碟一樣直立放置之外，改用壁掛架懸吊，或是直接塞進沙發底下， 享受撼動腳底板的樂趣，才能發揮Paradiam的設計創意！

扁平化的MilleniaSub超低音，機箱本身是以5mm厚的鋁材製成，剛性良好而且超薄，讓Paradigm可以把所有元件「塞」進去，可是喇叭單體在 哪裡？原來MilleniaSub採背對背雙低音設計，355mm×76mm的長橢圓形低音位於箱體兩側，箱體內含原廠設計的D類擴大機 （Advanced Ultra-Class-D Ampilfier），以複雜精密的演算法確保喇叭在大功率輸出時，仍有極低的失真。從原廠公佈的數據來看，MilleniaSub的動態輸出功率高達 900瓦，持續輸出功率也有300瓦之多，而且在一般聆聽空間所測量到的低頻可達21Hz（-3dB）。不論是外型設計或是數據表現都值得玩家留意。

Back-to-Back Bipolar Dual-Woofer Design … inherently vibration cancelling. Woofers fire in opposite directions resulting in a physical cancellation of vibrations and a massive reduction in the potential for sound-destroying resonances. Bloated, boomy bass?? Not a chance!!
