UNIVERSAL UPSAMPLING BLU-RAY, DVD & SACD PLAYER

Our best ever universal player gets the very most from video and audio discs, digital files and streaming thanks to a high quality Marvel QDEO video processor, selectable digital filters and Anagram Q5 192 kHz upsampling technology, to upsample all audio to 24- bit/192kHz output. No matter what format you have your video and audio in, the Azur 752BD universal player will bring it to life in your living room.

ATF2 UPSAMPLING

The 752BD features our unique ATF2 (Adaptive Time Filtering) upsampling technology which was developed in conjunction with Anagram Technologies, Switzerland.

All incoming audio data, such as CD quality 16-bit/44.1kHz, is upsampled to 24-bit/192kHz using a high-end 32-bit Analog Devices DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and five Wolfson audio DACs (digital to analogue convertors). "Polynomial Curve Fitting Interpolation" provides a much more accurate upsampled audio soundwave than traditional upsampling processes. And a unique timing system buffers audio data to almost eradicate digital jitter. Vital – as jitter, common in digital audio devices, loses vital detail, often leaving digital audio sounding flat and lifeless.

UNIVERSAL DISC PLAYER

The 752BD handles just about every disc out there. Not just Blu-ray (including BD-3D), SACD, DVD and CD, but also DVD-A, AVCHD, HDCD, Kodak Picture CD, CD-R/RW, DVD ±R/RW, DVD ±R DL, and BD-R/RE.

It also features an MHL link for smartphones and tablets, a Mobile High-definition Link via front-mounted HDMI with video upscaling and audio upsampling of all content, and Wi-Fi/ethernet networking for access to all your music, photos and videos over network from UPnP NAS drives, laptops and desktop hard drives.

FULL CONNECTIVITY AND INTERNET STREAMING

There are also surround sound audio codecs that include Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and DTS-HD Master Audio, and there is access to online streaming services such as YouTube and Picasa directly through the 752BD’s Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections.
