When listening to MP3, WMA or AAC audio files, most people miss the essence: Music. The main reason is not the compressed formats, but rather the mediocre loudspeakers that are typical of portable media players, notebooks and computers.

Most players and soundcards are capable of much more – definitely more than common desktop speakers could ever deliver. Why accept the compromise of limited performance? The Dynaudio MC 15 is the first compact active loudspeaker that breathes new life into music: Full, deep bass, natural vocals, clean clear highs. Performance superior to most Hi-Fi systems and sound that is definitely better than expected from compressed music files or Internet radio streams. Even a latest-generation mobile phone equipped with music software mated to a pair of MC 15 will create a most compact yet high-end audio system.

To achieve an advanced level of sound quality, the MC 15 differs from other loudspeakers: It is substantially more rigid to avoid any resonance. It is more powerful to impress even with dynamic music played at the highest volumes. It is more innovative by featuring proprietary Dynaudio driver technology to reproduce every musical detail. And it is better finished so one can make a lasting investment in sound quality and true high-end performance.

Connecting the MC 15 is simple: An RCA cable is first connected from the analogue output of a media player, mobile phone, or PC soundcard to each speaker, then the power cable for each MC 15 is plugged in. That’s it. Add a dedicated pre-amplifier or multi-channel audio/video processor and even more applications are possible, even a compact but very capable high-end surround system can be comprised.

On the rear terminal of the speaker, input sensitivity (in addition to the source’s volume control) can be selected from three settings, and bass, midrange and treble adjustments can also be made.

The matching Dynaudio Sub 250 MC subwoofer is available for deeper, more powerful bass extension down to the lowest notes.
