來自美國科羅拉多州的Ayre Acoustics，lnc。成立於1995年。身份設計師及掌管人是Charles Hansen查理·漢森先生，早期憑著設計一對Avalon-Ascent揚聲器因而聲名大噪。學工程師，及後成立了艾爾，設計了首部產品V-3功率擴大機。

艾爾在2009年初推出劃時代的QB-9 USB及發表了MP系列的數位訊源升級方案，原有的CX-7e與C-5xe CD唱盤都將升級為MP系列，型號后冠上MP字樣。 MP系列產品包括C-5xeMP SACD / CD / DVD-Audio兼容唱盤與CX-7eMP CD唱盤.MP是[Minimum Phase]的縮寫，即最少相位誤差之意，是一種數碼音訊濾波技術的革新，徹底消除傳統數碼濾波的[pre-ringing]問題，而[post-ringing]也將由10次減為1次，數碼音響從此進入新紀元。
