The Constellation project, like any Chario project, born from a specific primary need, to provide a speaker who is able to reproduce a musical event in a coherent, credible and involving way. Coherent means that the speaker should in no way give interpretation to the input signal that it receives, must accomplish a task far more difficult, that is to reproduce as faithfully as possible so natural and free from any touch-up, the original event. Credible means that all the components that contribute to the registration, depth of the image, width of the stage, positioning of instruments inside the stage should have the right balance, which must respect the character that there were in the original event. Emotionally engaging means that the speaker must ensure sufficient extent and dynamics to reproduce the event by donating all the nuances that the same event wanted to transfer during its performance.

Phoenix

In a multichannel system is very important that the center channel has characteristics of perfect uniformity with the pair of front speakers. A different center channel will lead to an immediate feeling of unnaturalness in the reproduction of a movie dialogue and in playing a concert. The Phoenix model is specifically designed to radiate energy with the same mathematical model of the other Constellation models.

In case it is combined with Lynx or Cygnus, which have 3dB less sensitivity, is likely to need, during setting, to be attenuated; meanwhile with Delphinus and Ursa Major the emission levels are the same 90dB, so it is therefore conceivable that doesn’t need any attenuation. Placement should be in front to the listener, then above or below the TV monitor or projection screen.
