The Constellation project, like any Chario project, born from a specific primary need, to provide a speaker who is able to reproduce a musical event in a coherent, credible and involving way. Coherent means that the speaker should in no way give interpretation to the input signal that it receives, must accomplish a task far more difficult, that is to reproduce as faithfully as possible so natural and free from any touch-up, the original event. Credible means that all the components that contribute to the registration, depth of the image, width of the stage, positioning of instruments inside the stage should have the right balance, which must respect the character that there were in the original event. Emotionally engaging means that the speaker must ensure sufficient extent and dynamics to reproduce the event by donating all the nuances that the same event wanted to transfer during its performance.

Hercules

The introduction of multi-channel systems in the market has led to the need to use active subwoofer, that is equipped with its own dedicated amplifier. Hercules was designed exactly this way, creating a perfect symbiosis between the four basic elements: driver, amplifier, bass reflex and cabinet.

It ‘s been given the utmost attention to each of these elements in relation to the listening room that will receive it.

The exclusive feature of Hercules is identified in a proprietary way of the duct, called “Hourglass,” which radically eliminates the noise generated by turbulence.

Extended up to 20 Hz Hercules will allow you to listen, feel (especially with the body), the deepest notes of the audio spectrum. And with a level of surprisingly homogeneous natural emission of any Constellation speaker matched with it. It ‘s important to make the most correct adjustment of the crossing point through this appropriate command of Hercules: till which frequency it has to radiate energy to regularize the best relationship with the front speakers, the listening room, and the listener/listeners themselves. A few suggestions: in the case of combination, such as primary speaker, Lynx or Cygnus, it is very likely that the best result is obtained by adjusting the crossover frequency between 90 and 100 Hz, with Delphinus or Pagasus adjusting the crossover frequency between 60 and 70 Hz, with Ursa Major between 40 and 50 Hz..
