CONDUCTORS: 26 AWG silver-plated oxygen free copper signal conductors.

CONFIGURATION: Signal conductor pairs arranged in noise cancelling twisted pair configuration. Each pair separately shielded.

SHIELDING: Dual layer high frequency effective overlapped foil shields

TERMINATIONS: Die-cast gold-plated HDMI Plugs for improved signal transfer and outstanding reliability. LENGTHS: Available in 1, 2 and 3 metre lengths.

We have improved the award winning SuperShield HDMI cable.  The new cable is certified high speed and now features dedicated ethernet and audio return wiring.

Alongside the ethernet and audio return wiring, we have also improved the internal wiring - In place of the oxygen free copper conductors used in the original SuperShield, are heavier 26 AWG conductors, silver-plated to improve signal transfer.  Insulation is gas foamed polyethylene and a dual layer high frequency effective shield protects the signal cables.

We have fitted an improved HDMI plug. The Chord SuperShield is now fitted with a die-cast moulded plug that has been engineered for a more secure connection.
